The U.S. Women's Soccer Team unveils bold new jerseys for World Cup!

The U.S. men’s and women’s soccer teams are getting new away jerseys, and they’re pretty great. Some might say they’re better than last year’s release- others may not agree. Regardless, they’re bright, colorful and fans will love them.
Now, it is official that the blue kit is what the USA soccer teams will wear in 2015 — with the USA women’s national team getting the first chance at to wear the uniform on the field as they finalize preparations for this summer’s 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

“The new kit was designed to showcase the USA’s tremendous sense of national pride as well as their distinct sense of style, while also capturing the nation’s eternal optimism for achieving greatness,” said Martin Lotti, Creative Director for Nike Soccer.
The kit starts off with white on the shoulders, with the transition to a lighter blue.
By the time the jersey gets to the bottom, it is a navy blue that continues on to the shorts. The only red on the jersey is on the USA soccer crest which is on the chest of the jersey, the bottom of the V-neck cut and on the back of the inside of the collar. There is also a red outline on the back number.
The U.S. women will be the first to debut the new kit during the Algarve Cup in Portugal
next month (4/11/15). The bold, v-neck jersey features two white stars above the team badge to represent the two World Cups they won in 1991 and ’99.
